Nothing is better than a filling, yummy English breakfast. If you re leaving for work and have little time or you are preparing yourself for a lazy Sunday, trust me. This is the recipe for you. It’s quick to make and tastes yummy with ketchup and brown sauce. So this is what all you need to make this delicious breakfast:
Ingredients: Serves 1
2 pork sausages
2 tablespoons butter
2 rashers bacon
2 hash browns
1 (220g) tin baked beans
1 large egg
2 slices white or brown bread
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 sprig parsley
- Pre-heat the oven to 220 C. heat the frying pan and put the brown sausages on it and cook it for 5 minutes. Once you do that, put the sausages in a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Score a cross into the bottom of the tomato and place it in the baking dish with rest of the sausages.
- Meanwhile you can melt a tablespoon of butter and fry the bacon, mushrooms and hash browns till they all soften and the bacon becomes crispy and turns golden brown. Once this is done, transfer it to the oven to keep it warm.
- In a small heated saucepan, add beans and stir it frequently.
- In the end, fry the egg with the yolk unbroken and toast the bread. Spread the butter over the toast. Take a warm serving plate; serve the sausages, mushrooms, hash browns, tomato, fried egg and toast. Season and garnish and serve immediately. Enjoy the delicious breakfast!
