How much does Jennifer Aniston spend monthly on her beauty regime?

jenniferWhen it comes to celebrities and their beauty regimes, we do expect them to spend quite a fortune considering the amount of time they spend in the public eye and the amount of flak they are subjected to for having even one hair out of place. However, when recently it was reported that Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Aniston spends $8000 a month on ensuring her faultless face remains that way, it sounded like a bit too much, even for her standards.

Then again, what do we know? As someone who is known for her gorgeous sun-kissed complexion and for making an entire generation ooh, aah and lust for the hairstyle she sported in the hit TV series F.R.I.E.N.D.S, I certainly expect Ms Aniston to be very particular about the stuff she lets sit on her face and hair. Then, there are pesky little details such as no unwanted facial hair, perfectly shaped eyebrows, frizz-free and lustrous hair to take care of. Also, being listed by Forbes magazine as one of the highest paid actresses of all times makes this rumour about Jen and her beauty care believable.

Well, almost but not quite.

Before you go on a face cream, facial and spa overload, hear out what the actress herself has to say about this piece of gossip. Laughing about the whole issue, Aniston had this to say, “Although I am a sucker for an amazing moisturizer, love a great facial, have been using the same cleansing bar since I was a teenager and have always been a dedicated tooth-brusher, reports that I am spending eight thousand a month on a beauty regime are greatly exaggerated.”

Phew! That’s quite a relief. This means there is still hope for the majority of us who do not earn in millions and can certainly not be expected to shell out $8000 (a whopping £5040!) every month to look our best. And this brings us to the next logical question, how much does Jennifer Aniston actually spend on taking care of herself? “By my tally, this month I’m in for about two hundred bucks (around £126),” she mentioned.
